World Champion Sumo wrestlers are flown in from Japan to give attendees a true glimpse into the world of Sumo, without traveling to Japan. Guests learn about the history, rules, and culture of Sumo followed by several live matches and a Q+A with the wrestlers. We’re proud to partner with Konishiki as our emcee and host. He is the first non-Japanese born wrestler to reach ōzeki, the second highest rank in Sumo. Throughout his legendary career, he won the top division championship three times.
